Hibonite together with other hexaluminates with very similar constructions are now being evaluated as interfacial coatings for ceramic matrix composites due to their higher thermal balance and special crystallographic structures. Also, aluminum oxides doped by having an alkali, alkaline earth, scarce earth, or changeover steel are of curiosity for
